Rally Raid International was founded by Paul Round in 1998 after competing in the world famous Dakar rally when he discovered there was little to no interest in teams supporting English speaking people. The situation was fine if you had 3 million Euros, but no good at all if you were an average Joe looking for fun.

Taking it upon himself to change this situation, Paul has gone on to help numerous people achieve their dreams of completing a Dakar Rally - whether on a bike or in a car.  As a result, Rally Raid International has grown into one of the largest privateer entrants each year.

Rally Raid now competes in several rallies each year and, as a taster for potential Dakar entrants, we also take a team to the Tuareg every March.  If you're thinking about the Dakar then this rally is a great way to find out whether racing is for you - without spending a fortune!
