The backbone of competing in a Dakar event is the T4 race truck. This truck is entered in the race but stops for all the race cars supported by the Rally Raid team.

The truck is equipped with a Dakar-experienced driver and navigator, as well as a Desert Warrior-proficient mechanic. The truck carries a full range of car spares including replacement gearboxes and axles, plus all the normal small items.

Hopefully you never need to use the race truck, but if anything does go wrong you'll undoubtedly be pleased to see it cresting the sand dune towards you.
